"Dear Michael,
Owen and I would like to thank you very much for conducting such a beautiful wedding ceremony for Anna and Nigel on March 18 at "Pounui Homestead".It really was lovely, relaxed, friendly and dignified. All of us there value the sanctity of marriage and we all appreciated the service you took. Many of us also have a Scottish heritage of which we are very proud so we were very impressed with the Celtic part of the service. In that setting it somehow seemed very appropriate and I'm sure we will never forget it. Anam Cara will have a deep meaning for Anna and Nigel - they really are soul mates.
I know Anna and Nigel both found the whole day immensely moving. They had worked hard to make it a memorable day for everyone and they certainly enjoyed it all.
Thank you for coming over to the Homestead to say hello before the wedding. It was very good of you. In all the flurry I just didn't quite know when we would meet you so we appreciated your thoughtfulness.
Thank you again for your friendship and guidance to Anna and Nigel for a wonderful wedding day we will never forget.
Yours sincerely, Barbara and Owen Scott
Thank you so much for all you did for us yesterday. We had a wonderful day, we loved the ceremony...you were a big part of why our day was so special. So many people have commented on the ceremony and also how fantastic you were. I very much appreciated your support and kind words when I was feeling somewhat anxious! Anita and John
"Michael, wow, you have been a soul of inspiration for both Gareth and I! You have guided us along with your wonderful resource of experience and aroha, have provided a solid platform for both of us to lean on when needed (and we both know there were times we’re sure you were almost holding us up lol), and we’ve both been so delighted with your quirky sense of humour! You are a gift to us and we cannot express how grateful we are to you."
Hi Michael,
Just dropping you a wee line to say thanks ever so much for being the most wonderful celebrant.
You were supportive and organised in the lead-up. Patient and reassuring at the rehearsal. And simply superb on the day. Thanks for not only bringing a touch of Scotland to proceedings, but also a touch of class.
We thought you’d like the attached photo of you holding the Quaich – it was taken right after you made your joke about getting the leftovers! Hope you love it as much as we do, as it really captures the essence of the ceremony. Thanks again and all the best for the future!
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the service on sat. You were just wonderful and made it so incredibly special for Andrew and me. Loved the humour you brought to the service and life and love you fostered in our sitting room. It was a true honour to have been married by you. We had a fabulous day and can't wait to watch the service video to relive it!

"We wanted to say thank you very much for being our wedding celebrant. We had a fantastic day and were glad you were part of it. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you in November when you marry my sister Laura!"
Michael, you did such a wonderful job yesterday. You put everyone at ease and it made for a very happy and relaxing experience. You were the only man for the job! Thank goodness you were available for our special day!
Thank you so very much,
Rob and Ange xox
Michiel and I just wanted to send a note to you to say thank you so much for marrying us! It was a lovely, lovely ceremony and having you guide us through it was wonderful. We were able to take our time and really let each other feel the sincerity in our words. You are a wonderful celebrant.
We had a wonderful rest of our wedding day and have this week been relaxing in beautiful Fiji.
Thanks again Michael, hopefully we will see you at some stage in the future!
Julia and Michiel
"Just a wee note of thanks for the brilliant job you did marrying Dan and I the other weekend. Everything came off without a hitch and we had a wonderful wedding day. It is very true what they say though – it’s gone in a flash! We really appreciated having you involved, the rehearsal(very useful), and the ceremony you provided, enabling us to create something very ‘us’."
"Thank you for helping to make the 30th of April a very special day to remember. We all appreciated the sincerity of your words to bless Chris and Bridget’s 50th anniversary of marriage."
I just wanted to pass along a huge thank you for being celebrant at our ceremony in Makara a couple weeks back. I had meant to say something after the ceremony, but things turned into a whirlwind for the rest of the night! We had such an awesome time, and the ceremony was fantastic. We are just so pleased with how everything turned out, even with the groomsman not bringing the dogs leash- at least it brought laughter to everyone with Obi running around.
So thank you so much for sharing that occasion with us, and helping to make it special and heartfelt for ourselves and our whanau. It was simple, beautiful and perfect.
Thank you so much,
Stephanie and Curtis Johnstone
We cannot thank you enough for the magnificent job you did of facilitating Britt & Glen’s wedding. You truly have a special & rare gift…
Not only did you bring their beautiful ceremony together in a moving & poignant manner – your unique charisma, amazing personality, eloquence and soothing, dulcet Scottish tones - produced a ceremony & an occasion that has left us all with the most wonderful & beautiful memories. These will be greatly treasured and cherished in the years ahead. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Thank you again for everything, Michael… we had so many fantastic comments, from many of our guests, about your outstanding delivery of the Service. We feel very privileged & fortunate that we were able to secure your services for this very special day in all our lives.
We wish you all good things, many joys… and a life rich in blessings.
Warmest regards always,
Sarina, Russell, Brittany & Glen.
